Travelling
to India can be one of the most exhilarating and life changing decisions of
your life. As they say, you would never return the similar person as you left.
On the other hand, many people prefer to travel through this gracefully old worldly
country in a group or as a couple. It is pretty difficult to find girls travelling to India alone even
though some do they can be the aim of overly impatient men or wind up as a
victim of a scam or worse. I myself came to India with a buddy and then we
decided on to go our separate ways for some weeks. I thus headed to the
southern part of India full of escapade. Five months afterwards my memories are
full and I never apologize for a moment of it, however, here are a few things I
learned to make myself safer:
Dress
conservatively. Yes, it can be tremendously hot, especially after heavy rain
season, but try to imitate the other females around you so you don't stand out
like an uncomfortable thumb or attract superfluous attention. Some good choices
of clothes are a Punjabi dress (this is a costume, usually short sleeved that
comes with identical trousers and scarf) or a shin to ankle lengthy skirt
matched with a tee shirt. These can be bought in all Indian bazaars with
varying colours, fabrics as well as styles depending on the state you are in. stay
away from sleeveless shirts, low cut or shorts or skirts that show off too much
leg. You can save this attire for the further touristy beaches of Goa and
Kerala. So,the girls travel to India should take care of these things.
